My dear friend Michelle got married the end of May and I had the pleasure of taking part in her wedding. I haven't been on the other side of a wedding in forever. Standing up at the alter with the bride and groom. Not working the wedding, not checking lists, not looking through contracts, not making timelines, but instead getting my hair and makeup done, posing for pictures, being introduced at the reception, etc.
While there was a small hiccup with the florist that I couldn't help myself but take care of it for her {what can I say, I'm a wedding planner at heart}, it was so surreal to not be working the wedding and instead taking part in the wedding.
